Undoubtedly the only choice for a VW is a custom fit. The first main reason is that the headunit shape fitted in most of the mid to late year VWs are of a shape unlike the standard 2DIN units. The custom fit just looks so much better and there is no need for a fascia, making the install look factory fitted.
